Old Mr. Parker always has an eye for the ladies. The Boxman arrives with his little mystery boxes. Constable Muldoon is suspicious.

Maggie senses the boxes' magic and she makes predictions, not all of them comforting. John shows kindness to Mary, a homeless woman.
Todd & Cynthia are at Town Hall to get a marriage license. Muldoon seeks his mother's advice about the boxes, but instead gets harassed over his lack of a love life.
The Cat Burglar is not above stealing Mary's sandwich while she sleeps. Cynthia comforts her children.
"How would you like it if someone carved their initials in you?" The child runs away screaming. Mrs. Mayor smashes Muldoon's box to prove the boxes are empty.
Angela tells her dreams, when Ronnie gives her a fake box. Mrs. Mayor has nightmares about boxes!
Judging the cat show. Pierre serves tea at Cafe Napoleon. 
"Hold hands, now don't be shy, don't want if, ands, or buts." At last Cynthia and John meet.
The Boxman appears to resurrect Muldoon from the dead. Maggie and Muldoon will adopt Ronnie, now that his father is in jail.
The jailbirds, Mrs. Mayor and Todd. Off in the paddy wagon they go.
