o be clear, THIS MUSEUM IS NOT YET IN EXISTENCE. The artist has created an irrevocable art trust, so that the castle, artwork, and property will one day be an art museum and land preserve. IN THE MEANTIME, we hope to be able to put up a separate museum building so that the paintings and other collections can open to the public in the near future. We also intend to put up a pavilion, and open some sculpture trails. CAN YOU HELP? We seek a generous art patron to help us accomplish building the separate museum building and visitor's center. (See the plans below). If we find a patron, we would be glad to name the building after them, and put up an honorary wall. Or perhaps there is an appropriate and large art grant available for such a purpose. IF YOU CAN HELP in any way, please contact us, or send your suggestions. T WOULD BE A GOOD PLAN, at the very least, to put up a pavilion soon, and in that way we can begin making this into an art center by holding workshops, music concerts, plays, arts and craft shows and so on, and perhaps even start a sculpture trail. And we could allow castle tours on several special days throughout the summer, and to school groups throughout the year. In this way we will begin to generate excitement, earn a reputation, and be partly on our way to establishing a non-profit and earning our Museum Charter from NYS. We do open for occasional tours, for example on a Sunday in mid September during the Hilltown's Farm and Artisan's Tour. (Check their listings.)
IF YOU CAN HELP fund the museum
building, or would like to be on the board of directors or volunteer, or
would be interested in creating a sculpture for the sculpture park, please
