LITTLE BLACK
BOXES is a magical,
romantic fantasy. It takes place circa 1950. A small town is turned upside
down when a stranger, wearing a bowler and mustache, rides into town on his
bike and selectively hands out a dozen little, black boxes. He instructs the
new owners not to open his or her boxes, for if they do the boxes will be
empty. However, he says that their patience will bring them (or someone they
know) a great treasure.
This is all part of the Boxman’s
clever plan to save Cynthia Green (desperate to find a father for her
children) from making the mistake of her life by marrying Todd Greely (a
greedy man with a dark secret) AND to right a few other wrongs while he’s at
it.
This superbly-crafted story will have
you laughing and crying, as lost loves are found, mysteries unraveled,
murderers and crooks routed out, and you witness, perhaps, a miracle or two.
Anyway, everyone will get exactly what they deserve! Learn how lives are
changed, for the better or worse, as this unusual situation is dealt with,
and see if you can guess the Boxman’s identity!
Little Black Boxes is an ideal
ensemble piece! Several simultaneous stories are being told, ensuring that
no two characters dominate the performance.
