TRAVIS BREITENBACH's sly and intelligent wit, and his innovative shooting and editing styles give his films
an unmistakable look and feel. He
is also recognized for his lighting design and
for his use of special effects set
construction; for example his set for
the interior of a burning house in Seven Days
of Samsara, and the optical illusions created for Edgar’s Folly
using sets of differing scales.
His most recent film, A Kiss Without a
Mustache is Like an Egg Without Salt, is a lively and
comical documentary on the history of facial hair. It will soon begin its
tour of the festival circuit.
In 2003 Travis was recognized
as one of the top young filmmakers in the country when he was awarded an
Honorarium from the Princess Grace Foundation.
Travis is currently writing scripts and
planning his next project.
